Join us for the second edition of Baltimore’s Transfiguration International Film Festival! This year, Animation Love Affair is hosting a workshop exclusive to Baltimore in which we will share the “fractal” method of animation we developed when we created this year’s signal film. We once again curated a Baltimore Block featuring local animators and a Q&A at the end of the show! Free refreshments for all guests of the show.

An Exhibition @ AREA 405, curated by Animation Love Affair

Sweaty Eyeballs is Baltimore's own premier animation festival, featuring experimental and indie animators from across the world. Animation Love Affair was asked to curate the exhibition at Area 405 that accompanies the show and serves as the site of the festival’s afterparty. We opted to view animation as a perspective, and brought in animators & non-Animators alike to explore what it means to see like an animator.

    • Grab some bagels and smear some frames with us! Then enjoy an artist talk by Georgia Beatty that dives into the world of Magic Lanterns, a fascinating projection device that introduced the world to animation & film.
